Welcome to my blog! This is where I update my most recent work. My name is Bruce Nguyen and I am a Southern California wedding and lifestyle photojournalist. I am fortunate to be doing what I am passionate about and I feel so blessed that through my camera lens, I've learned to appreciate the world. And I'm blessed even more that photography connects me with spirit. I love weddings, I love being part of a happy couple's biggest day and documenting a great story of love. My goal is not just to capture timeless moments, it is also to create inspiring images that are optimistic and humanly positive. When I'm not taking pictures or working on albums, I work on print advertising since I'm also a graphic designer and those stuff keep my creative juice stay fresh. Katie & An Wedding

One of the hottest days of the year, we went out to East LA to have so much fun celebrating Katie and An’s wedding. They are one very cute couple simply in love. It was such an honor to be a part of their day, not only because they are such fun people to work with, but because they have huge hearts that bleed for others and especially for one another. I loved the laughter and the tears, also loved the class and style. Special thank to Stephanie at S Fine Dinning for your tasteful style of the banquet settings and a very beautiful cake. Katie & An, congratulations on your new fabulous sweet beginning!

Julie & Paul Engagement

Meet Julie and Paul, they are both pretty stylin’. She’s friendly, mellow, and sweet. He’s tall and down-to-earth. I think they’re one sexy couple and… they’re in love! We had a great time walking around the Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles doing the first part of their engagement photo shoot. Then we went to Santa Monica beach where they live for the second part… that was so cool because we just had to take a few steps from their condo to hit the water! When the sun started to come down a little, we drove up to a special spot above the city to finish the day with a bridal portrait session. Julie & Paul, thanks for being so fun to be around. Can’t wait for your wedding next month.

Nicole & Duc Wedding

Nicole and Duc are famous for being asked when they would get married since they’ve been dating for over 10 years. Well, they finally pulled together their dream wedding last month and it turned out to be one of the most emotional weddings I’ve photographed. The wedding was filled with family traditions, personal touches, and heart-warming moments that we could not have been more fortunate to be a part of.
